Seed Coating Colorant Series is specifically designed for seed coating applications, including wheat, corn, cotton seeds, vegetable seeds, and flower seeds. This series of colorants exhibits excellent compatibility with resins commonly used in other coating systems, such as acrylic, polyurethane, and vinyl acetate.
Seed Coating Colorants offer good pail-flow consistency, are sediment-free, and provide superior chemical stability, lightfastness, weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance, good heat resistance, color-change resistance, hiding power, color migration resistance, high tinting strength, saturated chroma, and soft colored films with no grain shrinkage. They are free from alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO), heavy metals, and azo compounds (AZO), ensuring safety, environmental friendliness, and full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Application and Usage
Seed Coating Colorants are stable in performance and highly versatile. They can be used for coloring various types of plant seed coatings, either alone or in mixed tinting applications.
Coating Colorants are compatible with commonly used film formers, pesticides, and other additives from domestic and international sources. During use, the colorant, film former, pesticide, and other additives are mixed in the required proportions to prepare the seed coating product, which is then applied to seeds to give the coated seeds a brightly colored appearance. For subsequent seed coloring processes, compatibility testing should be conducted first to ensure good compatibility between the colorant and the resin system before tinting.
